Manor's history goes back to 15th century, when it was built as a knight's manor. On the 17th to 18th century it belonged to many different owners, from 1842 it belonged to the Stackelberg family until its expropriation in 1919.

The manor is located 35 km from Tallinn, in Raasiku Rural Municipality, 30 minutes car ride by recently repaired asphalted road.
